Indonesia’s Ministry of Home Affairs continues its mission to shape capable regional leaders through strong institutional synergy.
Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian, Lemhannas Governor Ace Hasan Syadzily, and PYC Founder Purnomo Yusgiantoro officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Regional Leadership Reinforcement Course (KPPD 2025) at Lemhannas Headquarters, Friday (October 24, 2025).

The program aims to strengthen the leadership capacity of regional heads in the decentralization era.
Minister Tito emphasized that while regional leaders hold direct public legitimacy, many still lack managerial experience.

“Improving leadership capacity is an urgent need to enhance public service quality and local governance,” Tito asserted.

He outlined six key public service standards every leader must master—education, health, public works, housing, public order, and social welfare.

Scheduled from November 4–18, 2025, in Jakarta and Singapore, the KPPD 2025 program combines classroom lessons, practical exercises, and international exposure.

“Through cross-country learning, regional leaders can adopt effective innovations and apply them locally,” Tito added.

Lemhannas Governor Ace Hasan Syadzily described the partnership as a strategic investment to prepare strong, visionary, and integrity-based local leaders.

“We aim to produce leaders who think locally but act globally,” he said.

The Ministry also collaborates with the private sector via CSR initiatives to sustain leadership training. Tito believes such synergy will yield measurable benefits for regional development.
